The Ace of Pentacles

All Aces represent a new beginning, a time when things fall into place, and you feel a rush of momentum that starts something new and exciting. Since the suit of Pentacles deals with the physical realm, the Ace of Pentacles is about the start of a project that could pay dividends reasonably quickly.

Pentacles are linked to the earth element; that’s why you can see the healthy garden at the base of this card and why there are so many signs of growth in that suit, especially in the Court cards. The original symbol of this suit used to be Coins, so Pentacles are about money, assets, and stability related to financial security.

When this card turns up in a reading, it’s usually because the person you are doing the reading for has just started or is about to start making their life more established. Maybe they are putting together a stock portfolio, or they’ve just started a business that is likely to generate good money.

Being an Ace means it’s just the start of this type of venture. It might be that you finally started to get serious about planning for future financial independence, or you may be celebrating a recent pay rise, or it might be something as simple as establishing a vegetable garden, or some unexpected money-making opportunity came your way.

I had an Ace of Pentacles experience just a few days ago. I am a keen photographer, and a friend asked me to take some promotional photos of her while she was working at a market stall. As I was doing this, the organiser of the market saw me with my professional-looking camera, and she asked if she could hire me to take photos of other stallholders as well. So I earned some money very unexpectedly, and it was a joy to do this fun job at the same time.

I hope you have an Ace of Pentacles experience soon.
