Tarot Meetings in Adelaide

by

Meeting with other Tarot enthusiasts is a great way to share ideas about Tarot, and you can practice doing readings in a friendly environment. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced reader, joining a group offers an opportunity to deepen your knowledge of the Tarot and gain new perspectives on the cards. Each member brings their unique perspective, knowledge, and experience, which can help expand your understanding of the cards and the Tarot system.

Many Tarot readers find that the practice can be solitary, and finding others who share their interests can be difficult. In Adelaide, we are fortunate to have the Tarot Group of South Australia, where members meet monthly in person or online. This group setting provides a supportive environment where members can discuss their experiences, ask questions, and receive feedback. This can be especially helpful for beginners who may feel overwhelmed or intimidated by the complexity of the Tarot.

Kim Allen started the Tarot Group of South Australia. The meetings were held in person in the Adelaide Hills. The hosting role eventually passed to Tanya and me. Tanya talks about new decks and developments within the Tarot world, while I often provide activities and discussion points for each meeting. Tanya also creates many of the Tarot spreads we use at the meetings.

Two Types of Meetings

On alternating months we meet in person at the Stirling Library in the Adelaide Hills and then online. We’re still called the Tarot Group of South Australia because we enjoy our face-to-face meetings in South Australia, but with the flexibility of online meetings, we are also joined by Tarot enthusiasts from across Australia and overseas. To discover when and where the next meetings are held, join the Tarot Group of South Australia’s Facebook page, where we announce times and dates for future gatherings. Participating in a Tarot group provides a sense of community and support. Our meetings are relaxed and informative, so that you will feel welcome in both formats of meetings. We look forward to seeing you some time!
